Foggy Bottom Tree Farm was founded in 2019 by longtime nurseryman and Rutgers graduate Don Knezick. Don partnered with Dr. Tom Molnar of Rutgers University to propagate Rutgers variety Hazelnuts. Foggy Bottom Tree Farm is honored to be the first nursery licensed to grow and sell these new and innovative hazelnuts. The inaugural crop of a few thousand Rutgers Hybrid Hazelnut seedlings is expected to be ready Fall 2020!
